Harvest Moon (SNES version):

What's the point of your farming career? Well your parents are going away for 2 1/2 years (No not your REAL parents, your characters parents. If your REAL parents were going away there would be a big party and you must find success, and if you believe girls have NO cooties (Which you should!) then you can marry one of the girls, and if you are good to them you can have babies. When your parents come back you can...oops. Check "Time, Days, and Seasons" for the list of endings.

Harvest Moon 64 (Nintendo 64 version):

The citizens of a small town gather together for a funeral. It seems that your grandfather, who owned the ranch near the town, has passed away; his final request of you that you return his old ranch to its former glory. There's only one problem... in his old age, he really couldn't keep up with the work anymore, and the ranch is a real mess. Well, it looks like your work is cut out for you; with only 300g and a few tools to aid you, you need to fix up the old farm and make a life for yourself. What's the catch? You have only two and a half years to accomplish this before you dad comes back to check in on you. If you don't impress him, he'll be upset, and he'll want you to return to the city with him. ...Well, it seems that there's no time to waste! Lets get to work!

Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland (Playstation 2 version):

You grandfather Tony has passed away. And all he left was a Farm...
You will be at the town, you will receive a letter from your father which tells you to pick up the stuff your grandfather left at his farm, you will then hear that the Village will be turned into a Theme Park in 1 year if nothing is done to prevent it...
You will then decide to take over the Farm to try to stop the building of the Theme Park by making a lot of money or finding any other way, and you have only 1 year...
